Georgie is a deafblind 6 pound chihuahua mix who was abandoned in a box on a sidewalk when he was 9 weeks old. He was quickly rescued, fostered, and adopted into his forever home. His rescue story isn't unique, but there are a lot of disabled dogs who aren't so fortunate.

Many pet parents are under the impression that they aren't qualified to care for a disabled dog. But in reality, when educated about and aware of the required care of individual dogs who have disabilities, most people find their way.
