Presentation for Pet Parents and Rescuers who Care for Disabled Pets!

Through real life examples of some of the most profoundly disabled pets, we’ll begin to understand the importance of changing mindsets towards disabilities in animals. Attendees will learn about disabled pets, their potential for an excellent quality of life, and how to set up support systems for those who choose to keep and care for pets that are medically complex and disabled. In addition, attendees will be inspired to support disabled pet adoptions and normalize disabled pets in their personal lives and communities! The Disabled Pets Project will be introduced to familiarize pet parents and rescuers with the resources found on the www.disabledpets.org website.
