Lucy's 4th Bday Zoom Party with Adopting a Disabled Dog Webinar

Lucy was rescued in CA after being hit by a car. She had been a stray street dog for the first year of her life. No one could catch her until her accident where she broke the bones in both back feet straight across. She was rescued by Dogwood Animal Rescue, had surgery on her right foot, and her left foot was splinted.
Piglet's Favorite Dad saw Lucy's picture on Facebook and had to have her.

Long story, we adopted Lucy on Jan 8, 2022. Her left foot healed but despite multiple surgeries in CA and CT, her right foot didn't. After another year we found a human prosthetist who built a brace that would support Lucy's broken foot when she walked.

Lucy loves the other dogs in our family, she has separation anxiety, and she is very shy at our school visits, but she LOVES to attend with the other dogs. She loves little Georgie and Piggy and gets along very well with all.
