Teaching Deaf, Blind, and Deaf Blind Dogs

Do you have a deaf, blind, or deaf blind dog? Or a dog who can see and hear?
As a follow up to our February webinar Caring for Deaf, Blind, and Deaf Blind Dogs, this webinar will focus on communication and teaching deaf, blind, and deaf blind dogs through signing, speaking, and touch. The concepts and principles are the same for all dogs so everyone is welcome and can expect to have a great time learning about teaching dogs in general (with a focus on the deaf and blind ones of course).

Chris Hannah will join us with Deaf Dog Cole to discuss teaching sign language to deaf dogs. Amanda Weatherhead will talk about working with her sweet Django who fetches a ball using scent and sound. Melissa Shapiro mom to Piglet, the deaf blind pink puppy will talk about communicating with deaf blind dogs through touch, and Miriam Scheinblum will share training techniques she uses with her amazing deaf blind tricks dog, Aston!

This will be an interactive discussion and we encourage participants to ask questions and share their experiences with their own dogs.
