Celebrating Evie, Dean Gina, and Susie too!
Even before Piglet arrived in March 2017, we had 6 amazing dogs who made up the sweetest, accepting, friendly, supportive dog family. Whether it was luck or the skilled dog pack management skills of our little Susie, these 6 dogs played together, took walks together, enjoyed relaxing on the couch together, and brought smiles to whoever saw them out in public.
Each dog was welcomed into the little family with gentle kindness which transferred down the line with each adoption. When Piglet arrived, it was like insta-family. They all knew exactly what to do and they did it.
Now, 14 years later, our original dogs have grown old together. It has been heartwarming to have a group of older dogs who love each other the way these dogs do. But it is also heartbreaking as we have now lost 4 out of the original 6. Susie- 5 years ago, Gina- 1 year ago, Dean- April 8, 2026, and little Evie- May 19, 2026.
These dogs all have their own following on Piglet's social media accounts. The outpouring of love that we felt when each one passed has been overwhelming and greatly appreciated.
To honor our beautiful sweet dogs, we are planning a celebration of Evie, Dean, Gina, and Susan. We'll dig down into the archives of videos and pictures to really show and enjoy the members of our original dog pack. And of course, we'll bring everything up to current times with updates on our newer dogs and how they felt welcomed by the older ones.
This is a fundraiser for our Piglet Mindset School Visit Program as visiting schools was where Evie truly shined. From the day she arrived here from CA, she was drawn to children like a magnet. Our school programmed was tailored to the joy she felt when she was surrounded by children.
There are two ticket types, general and VIP. The VIP comes with a special edition 3" Evie Loved By Little Hands sticker. There also will be an Evie shirt available to order at the end of June.
